Kerala company bags orders from global majors

The home sterilization device developed by a Kerala-based start-up is getting traction from companies across the globe. The device called as “Wolf Airmask,” was developed by Allabout Innovations has received orders from about 30 countries for its electronic device that performs real-time sterilization of air and reduces 99 per cent of the coronavirus indoors within minutes.

The company is headquartered in the coastal district of Alapuzha also known as the Vence of the East. “The device developed by Allabout Innovations has received international orders for 20,000 pieces within a month of launching,” claimed the company in a press release. The device developed by the company located about 50 KM of the south of Kochi offers an air-sterilization capability and was proven at a test conducted by the regulator the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

“The products are of two varieties that function within 500 square feet area and the other at 1,000 sq ft.”According to the developer, it is getting orders from countries like Finland, Denmark, Sweden the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal, and in the Gulf among other GCC countries, countries in North America and various places from Africa.

Domestic Customers

Apart from the huge demand from overseas, many Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and West Bengal are also placing orders for the device.

The Wolf Airmask costs a maximum price of Rs 29,500 within India. The device developed indigenously through, with imported components, the Wolf Airmask ruptures the SARS-CoV-2. Its efficiency has been proven at tests by Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology under the Government of India. While RGCB Trivandrum is an ICMR-recognized testing lab, ‘Wolf Airmask’ is the country’s first of its kind for RGCB to give such an attestation.

“The Wolf Airmask, developed from German technology and with components from Denmark, can be used for 60,000 hours, It requires no service or change of parts,” said Sujesh Sugunan, Director of Allabout Innovations.
